My Bloody Valentine
|
IMDB rating: 5.30 Plot: On Valentine’s Day 20 years before, an explosion of methane gas took the lives of a group of coal miners working in the Hanniger Mine near the small Nova Socia town of Valentine Bluffs. The accident occurred because supervisors left their posts to attend the annual Valentine’s Day dance. A year afterward, Harry Warden – the only survivor of the accident – retaliated by killing the two supervisors, and leaving a terrifying warning never to hold another Valentine’s Day dance. Now, a group of young adults decides to hold another dance, despite warnings. When a blood-soaked heart arrives at the police station, accompanied by an ominous message, the dance is canceled. But a Valentine party is held in its place… at the coal mine, and it isn’t long before the town’s young people begin dying violently. It appears Harry Warden has returned to punish those who did not heed his warning… |

WHAT WAS THE WORSE REMAKE OF 2009?
I think friday the 13th was good but there was nothing "remade" about it. It was just another edition to the friday the 13th movies. in my opinion, a good remake is supposed to recapture the original but with more creativity…My bloody valentine & Halloween 2 were perfectly remade.
I’m sorry, but I’d have to pick Halloween 2. I thought Zombie had a good thing going with House of 1,000 Corpses, and Devil’s Rejects was golden, but his Halloween remakes are just terrible on every level. Michael Myers is creepier without an origin, without motives. I don’t want to learn that Michael Myers was a white-trash loner with a stripper mom and boozed-up dad, it was scarier in the original when we see two normal looking parents approach a young, normal looking child who just murdered his sister for no apparent reason. I like Zombie’s style, but unrelenting violence and gore isn’t what has kept the Halloween series going for so long. Scout Taylor-Compton is a horrible actress, and Dr. Loomis being portrayed as a money-grubbing villain was just bad writing, his character is the ultimate good to Myers’ pure evil.

well in case you didnt actually see Friday the 13th the remake, which by your writing you must not have, other wise you’d know it was a remake.
From His mother geting her head chopped off (Original movie)
to the pillow sheet head cover (Part 2)
to the hockey mask (part 3)

This is so ironic that you would mention Halloween 2 as one of the better remakes of the year, because I came in here with the sole intent of describing my utter hate for such a poorly translated remake.
I agree with Raymond in every sense. Halloween 2 was nothing but pure trash. I just recently watched this movie too, so each and every truly terrible thing about this movie is as fresh in my mind as the crimson droplets of blood elicited from the hand of Rob Zombie

Can you help me think of a new xbox live gamertag?
My last one was chewiestbears. I hate dead serious tags like dragonslayer and things like that. I was thinking something with the word "juice." Since juice is a pretty funny word in itself you dont have to add anything more to make it more funny. I wanted to make mine The juiceman or just The juice, but those names are gonna be taken. Thanks for any help.
Be creative.

As of right now, my wife and I are going to see the Pee-Wee Herman stage show thing and separately see this really great group called The Spires in January. I’m pondering seeing Quasi at Spaceland in February or March, but it’s an hour plus each way and I’m not sure if I’m that into it Awesome as they are that’s a lot of driving.
Prof Anger (pro… tools?) | Dec 22, 2009
My friend saw The Chariot with Gojira, and said it was the most intense stage performance he had ever seen. I saw Suffokate last week, and mostly just played a game where I tried to guess where they were going to hit their bass drops during their set. it was pretty fun.
Dec. 26th, going to what’s looking to be an amazing local show. The Descolada Virus, Dismal Lapse, The Kennedy Veil, Aligheri, and The Wrath of Vesuvius, for any Sactown people.
After that, going to BTBAM, Cynic, Devin Townsend Project, and Scale the Summit in January

Leprosy~ you’re gonna LOVE TSO.
Usually I like to have something like a concert to look forward to, but right now I’m good because I’ve been *so* happily busy…. Saw Less Than Jake/ Cage/ The Swellers/ & Fishbone 3 weeks ago; got to finally see Trans Siberian Orchestra right after Thanksgiving; and on Saturday I was at the San Francisco Ballet’s "Nutcracker". It was *wonderful*.

Help me?? Taylor Swift concert times etc?
I’m going to a Taylor Swift concert tomorrow night with my friend at Wembley arena. The last train from London Charing cross is at 00:10 and I need to get that one otherwise there is no way of getting back. This means that my parents are making me leave at 10:30 so that I can catch a train from Wembley Stadium station to London charing cross so I can get that train.
How long will the concert last? Will I miss a lot?
How long does it take to actually get out of the arena?
Is there any other way transport wise that means that we won’t have to leave early? (and no my parents cannot pick us up)
