As of right now, my wife and I are going to see the Pee-Wee Herman stage show thing and separately see this really great group called The Spires in January. I’m pondering seeing Quasi at Spaceland in February or March, but it’s an hour plus each way and I’m not sure if I’m that into it Awesome as they are that’s a lot of driving.
Prof Anger (pro… tools?) | Dec 22, 2009

My friend saw The Chariot with Gojira, and said it was the most intense stage performance he had ever seen. I saw Suffokate last week, and mostly just played a game where I tried to guess where they were going to hit their bass drops during their set. it was pretty fun.

Dec. 26th, going to what’s looking to be an amazing local show. The Descolada Virus, Dismal Lapse, The Kennedy Veil, Aligheri, and The Wrath of Vesuvius, for any Sactown people.

After that, going to BTBAM, Cynic, Devin Townsend Project, and Scale the Summit in January

I don’t have anything coming up… but the kids are begging for Testament, Megadeth, and Slayer next month…. so we’ll see about that.

Leprosy~ you’re gonna LOVE TSO.

Usually I like to have something like a concert to look forward to, but right now I’m good because I’ve been *so* happily busy…. Saw Less Than Jake/ Cage/ The Swellers/ & Fishbone 3 weeks ago; got to finally see Trans Siberian Orchestra right after Thanksgiving; and on Saturday I was at the San Francisco Ballet’s "Nutcracker". It was *wonderful*.

Frankenstein
Frankenstein (1994)

IMDB rating: 6.00

Plot: Based on Mary Shelly’s novel, the hair-raising movie tells the sad story of Victor Frankenstein (Kenneth Brannagh), a promising young scientist. The doctor was so devastated by his mother’s death during childbirth that he became obsessed with the idea of bringing the deceased back to life, unaware of the consequences of his actions. The result of his experiment with the remains of the corpse and electricity was a simple, seemingly harmless creature (Robert De Niro) which, however, turned into a wrathful and vindictive monster after his ”father” abandoned him. Dr. Frankenstein wished he had never created him!
