The vast majority of that list would be good choices, with a few exceptions: The Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, and Flaubert works are too advanced for the great majority of teens, and Ulysses too complex probably for any teen. On the other end, the books by Edgar Rice Burroughs are too simple. If you’re looking for fast paced adventure in fantastic settings, there are many writers more recent than Burroughs who do it far better.
Of the books listed, my personal favorites are Pride and Prejudice, The Trial, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and Huckleberry Finn (although the last 1/3 or so of Huck Finn is not nearly as good as the earlier sections). The Sherlock Holmes books on the list are also great, and I loved reading them at about your age.

I would begin with the smallest book and work your way up to the largest book. If you start with the largest book first, you might get overwhelmed.
I would recomend reading Alice and wonderland. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I got through it in less than a day too. I have a shot attention span so that’s saying a lot

This guy is a player, a heart breaker, and he has broken 1 too many hearts. I have been in love with him for a year. And He leaves all these girls on the sidelines and charms them the whole time he dates someone just so he can have another girl when he gets tired of the girl hes dating.

be close to him, smile and look into his eyes and when you know he’ll want to kiss you, you say something to put him off a little like ‘i’m bored, i think i’ll be off now’ you can say anything to upset him
and btw be fun around him, coz he’ll get bored of you
and btw dont do this in one day, it takes a lot of time to do it, just like in John Tucker must die, lol

Why did the singer Derek Webb make the song wedding dress for?
The song is a metaphor for Christ and the church. One of the beautiful portraits painted in the Bible is of the church being described as the bride of Christ. We see this even in a vision of the future in Revelation 19:7.

This is a theme that runs through the entire Bible. God chooses a people to love (Adam and Eve in the beginning) and then chooses a people as a nation (Israel) to display His glory and to embrace the rest of the world. Then Jesus comes and pays the "bride price" through His death. (The bride price is something that was agreed upon by the Father’s of the bride and groom. It was sealed with a blood covenant in which the Father’s walked through a blood path as a way of saying, "You can do this to me, if my Son or Daughter breaks this marriage covenant.") So when Jesus dies God is paying the bride price for our unfaithfulness. We, as a community of followers of Christ, become the bride of Christ, not because we are worthy but because we are chosen and we are redeemed.
This is where Derek Webb’s "Wedding Dress" song is so powerful. The song is essentially about how we, as Christians, often times abuse the wonderful gift of being chosen to be Christ’s "bride" and act as an adulteress. While we are offered the most unbelievable love known to mankind, we choose other "lovers." Webb reflects on this and his song is a confession that as a Christian who wants to experience love, we often choose to prostitute ourselves. That’s why Webb’s lyric confesses, "I am a whore I do confess. I put you on just like a wedding dress and I…run down the aisle." The song encourages Christians and the church to seek more diligently to be a pure bride for Christ.

Was I right to do this?
So first of all before I go on, my teacher is really creepy and perverted. You can ask anyone who has had him that he is a weirdo. He will lean over you with his nasty smoke and coffee breathe, look down your shirt, he talks about hookers!,etc, no one likes him. He has been trying to get me in trouble so I have to serve detention after school with him (once i got in trouble for wearing school gym shorts and other girls were wearing the exact same shorts). Today I got back from gym and I was brushing my hair and he told me to put it away and I said "Unlike you I dont like my hair to resemble pubes. Wanna borrow my brush?" He got so angry and everyone bursted out laughing. He told me to leave the class and i said "Of course! I will do it with gladness." I have detention tomorrow and I dont want to serve it because I am seriously scared to be with him alone tomorrow. What should I do? Do you think I could ask the principle if I could serve it with him and not my teacher? Thanks. Oh and please dont take me as a smart alec trouble maker, if you knew him and how he was, you’d understand where im coming from. There has been two teachers in my school who got in trouble for sexually assaulting students.
And I have no other problems with my other teachers, they themselves said he is a little odd.
Well then go to a teacher you can trust or a principle or maybe even a parent and tell them how he looks down at your shirt and talks about hookers. Good Luck!
